    I replaced half the substrate which was CC on a 35g 3 foot tank, with live sand froma local reefers established tank. Once I swapped that I must have disturbed the detritus and let out enough gasses , (nitrogen I think) that I lost all 3 fish I had, and some corals like SPS. My squamosa clam, and my LPS were fine.

    I didn't think I moved too fast on this, but apparently I did.


    I don't want to be a nay sayer, but I wanted to post my experience and add a word of caution. that's all:)
