MAKE SURE YOUR ROCK IS NOT SITTING ON THE SAND, MAKE SURE IT IS SITTING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK

Ask me how I know....some rock work fell down. No fish died or injured, but potentially 3 corals are at the risk of death, I'll monitor them for the next few days and hope for the best.

Devin, sorry to hear about the mishap. Hopefully the corals pull through for you bud. Keep us updated.

Good advice. I had the same thing happen with my Engineer goby. Never again will I put rocks on top of my sand.

    Good alert.

When I had sand and a Diamond Goby, I propped up rock with 1 or 2 inch pieces of pvc pipe. I had the sand in mind when I did this, but looking back it may have helped with this as well.

    glad everything worked out!
i always always place rock in first and then sand, for this reason and the rock looks more natural sticking up through the sand IMO
luckly everything was fine, imagine if alot of your rocks shifted and sent one crashing into your front glass, talk about a mistake that could wipe out a whole tank/room.
