    Sifting stars are good, but I've gotten much better results from the use of med. to large sand sifting snails. They seem to adapt to eat anything and move sand like lil' bulldozers. Just one mans opinion, and since You've gotten it already...,,Just enjoy as I also have seen Them live for years, but I would feed it occationaly, silversides are good.

    Yup, I have 5 common Nassalius which do an "ok" job... and 7 white nassalius, the whites are absolutely amazing!!! You can actually see the sand bed stirring around with the only evidence of them under your sand is a little antennae that sticks out. As soon as I feed, BAM... they're all out and about :)

    In my haste/inexperience today, I picked up a sand sifting star. Now i'm at work researching this little guy and think i've made a bad decision... i'll keep you guys posted on his progress!
