sand suggestion

looking for 40lb of dead sand I think..for 34gallon solana?

Anyway, previously I had super fine white sand that would fly all over the tank whenever there was flow at the bottom, but if there was no flow at the bottom i would have cyano flower field lol

So it was a lose lose situation for me.
Now is my chance to get new sand, any sand you can recommand me?

 

CaribSea Dry Aragonite | Aragamax Sugar Sized Sand | Aragamax Select | Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand | Fiji Pink Reef Sand | Flamingo Reef Sand | Bermuda Pink | Grand Bahamas Biome | Super Reef

I would go with the Aragamax select, Fiji Pink or Super Reef.

 

Carib Sea Special grade reef sand (1.0-2.0) is my pick.

Yeah that would get you about a 1" sand bed.

 

Perfect, do u use them too?

 

I have the sugar grade sand, 60lb in the DT, 30lb each in the sump and refugium.
