    agreed i have rinsed the gravel and added it to a new tank and had no ill effects from it, ive also transfered sand from a running tank into a new tank and found it to be devastating.

    rinse your gravel out run water threw it untill the water goes clear then yer pretty good to add it to yer new tank
    worked fine for me :)
