I know ive read what kind of sand to buy at home depot and or lowes but i cant remember.... help?

Is it worth seeding it with abag of "live sand" or is it a waste of money?

How much sand for a 120 (60.5 inches x 18.50) Going for about a 1 to 2 inch bottom... as little as possible just to coverr the glass....

I think you have to make sure it doesn't contain silicone/silicates because it could cause problems down the road though......

I looked at both HD and Lowes and all the sand that my stores had contained silica. I ordered my new sand for my 120 from marcorocks. 160# for $99 delivered. I hope this helps
