Got a orange spotted goby couple days ago and he is creating huge sandstorms and it makes the tank look pretty dirty! I dont like it that much, but will he eventully chill? Or is this going to go on forever?

Nope he will continue to do so. Love the fish but they dump sand on my frags so I no longer keep them. Big jumpers too.

They he isnt putting anything on the corals, but there is no chance of him not creating a sandstorm?

It is in their nature to sift sand to find little goodies. Mine never stopped sifting.

All I can add is my YWG made a stand storm this am in my tank and both are over 3 years old. I guess I will not hold my breath. It usually clears when he is not actively digging, but I am sure my sps do not like it.

My Orange Spot Goby still kicks up sand but the cloudy water condition lasted only a few days. Good luck.

He actually stopped today..I turned on lights after school, tank was cloudy..Waited an hour, tank was not cloudy(Very clear actually) another 2 hours I checked out the tank and it was cloudy, he was building another burrow..When he stops building burrows it seems that the cloudyness stops.
