A Tsunami ATO. It is the newer version with the included zoomed mag clips instead of suction cups. Now I'm trying to figure out the best pump to use with it. There is of course a toms aqua lifter but I'm leaning more towards and actual pump with impeller. What do you guys think?

I use a tiny pump I picked up at PetSmart with it, attached a ball valve and turned it down, and turned the setting on the front of the pump all the way down. I forgot the name, but I figured it's not exactly gonna need to be the absolute best pump to do the job.

I picked up a top fin 30gph power head and attached a peice of tubing to the out let. It works great, since it only turns on when the pressure switch flips on I didn't put a ball valve on mine.

i use the aqua lifter. much slower than most 3 1/2 gph. and good if you want to dose kalk with your ato. my ato shuts the pump off if its pumping more than three minutes i believe, which when i had a faster pump on there and a clogged over flow ( anemone in over flow) the faster pump emptied my ato reserve water into my tank, which caused a salt drop and a flooded floor. so a slow pump with a ato that turns off after so long... no matter what the sensor is reading, is a good thing. also sensors get stuck. so keep that in mind a very slow pump could save you.

Thanks Guys! I went to Home Depot today and for 23 dollars I bought a fountain pump that came with several tubing adapter sizes, automatically shuts off if no water is present and has a built in flow control and a 4' head. Works amazing I cannot hear it turn on and the pump came with four rubber suctions to minimize vibration. Pump also produces 125 GPH and is only 3 inches long and 1 1/2" wide. I love this tsunami especially since they have upgraded to magnetic attachments. The best money can buy IMO. HOME DEPOT SAVES THE DAY....AGAIN!
