Santa Secret Shop???

OK.... I know Halloween hasn't come around yet, and some of us aren't Christian, or Jewish or Muslim, or whatever religion......It doesn't matter! All I know is the Holiday season is coming up and wouldn't it be cool if we did a gift swap for the holidays. It might be something laying around you tank, like an unopened/unused bottle of Purple Up or a disposable phosphate filter, or a frag of something you think the other person would like. Nothing over 10 bucks then shipping...Matt can give us a name to "shop" for and we can send it to them??? Let's do like a Santa's secret shop....... WADYA SAY????? Everyone, from US, Canada, Australia, where ever... good idea??

 

sounds good, how about doing the swap with members in your on town/city. That way, shipping is not a problem and you get to meet your fellow 3reefers.;D

 

I live in a town that is in the middle of nowhere LOL the closest person to me is in Atlanta, 3hrs away, which isn't too bad and I do get there pretty often(about 1x a month).......

With the resent hack into the system and Matt frantically trying to rebuild. 3Reef will not be able to use it's resources to help organize this type of venture. But please feel free to go ahead and organize it within the forum.
My wife has been involved in these in the past and has found it is not possible to please everyone 100% of time. She has found people sign up not buy a gift for the person that was selected for them or gifts arrive way after Christmas. So it takes a lot of effort to ensure everyone who signs up gets a gift and everyone is left with the Christmas spirit.

This is true Jason! If anyone is game, I'll do it.. Let me know and I'll start a list We can do just the peeps that sign up for it and exchange that way?? How's that sound ya'll(those who want to participate)? I'm the worst about getting stuff to the mail on time, but for this, I will make an extra effort! PM me a 3 list of items, under 10 bucks, that can be found at your lfs, that you might want and I will pass it along to whoever gets you?? Nothing Live. Just to make sure you won't get a gift that is dead. Any suggestions?
