This is my 55 when it was first set up without any fih for Freshwater. Since then, a lot has changed including the hole in my wallet.

This is a pictures of the chaos that was going on while the tank was being filled with salt water:

this is pic is when the tank was filled with salt water and about 40lbs of live and about 10lbs of dead sand was added, along with 16lbsof live rock:

I also had gotten a light fixture for it, I has a Nova Extreme T5 216 watt. Some timers were also bought:

As you can see there is a canister filter from marineland (C360):

I Later went to a LFS and picked up some moon lights, I first tried to use some sticky tape(double sided, but no good) I ended up drilling tiny wholes and using supplied screws to install them on the fixture:

In the process I also picked up a few things from petmountain.com:

Finally, after a death of my first fish(domino damsel) which only lasted a few hours, god bless his soul. I got a glass goby, from a friend(tundraburg) to help with the nitrogen cycle:

And my last addition so far was an excellent steal from graiglist. It the purchase of a AquaC Remora Pro with Mag 3 and Prefilter box for a total of $150:

Here is a full tank shot minus the skimmer( the skimmer has been placed in it but it is not running yet, also the lights are not being used yet, since its going through the cycle). The only lights that are on are the moonlights:

Thanks, as for the sump or fuge, there is none right now. I will see what can be dne in the future, there is not too much space under the tank to add, its a bit tight. What I will be adding for sure is a coiled denitrator that I will be making next weekend.
