Was doing a little tank maintenance today and noticed that there was something crawling on my GFO reactor. I first thought it was a spider, but then I noticed that it was on the inside. I looked and thought it must have been some sort of marine spider. Well, I looked a little closer and saw some blue and realized it was one of my blue legged hermits out of his shell. I threw about 3 or 4 in my sump the other week to take care of some detritus. It must have moved to my pump section and gotten stuck. It evidently had molted as well and gotten sucked into my GFO pump. I was able to get the reactor unscrewed without killing and got him out. I then threw him on the top part of my sump with several shells to choose from. He actually went back into his old shell and seemed okay. I decided to throw him back into the DT until I get the new sump ready. I know it was just a hermit crab, but I still felt bad. Just another day... Thanks for reading!!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy
