    Hey,

I was at my LFS yesterday and they had a huge colony of acropora that i was going to have them frag a few pieces for $10....well after looking at it and talking to them they said it might have RTN/STN...i took a chance and bought the entire colony for $10...took it home and fragged it...so far so good. I'll have to wait and see but for $10 it was worth the risk.

It said blue/purple acro, but does anyone know what it is. I think it is a little brown from stress but I am hoping I can get it to live and color up.

I fragged it into 10 pieces and I have 4 this size and bigger.

Yeah, I thought it a was a good deal...I'm just hoping 1 out of the 10 makes it.

I see pics of others similar online but it is hard to tell what it is.

Always difficult to tell with Acroporas. So many species look the same. It looks like it could be a tenuis.

It's a Tenuis. Place it in high light and it should turn a very nice blue. It looks like it just had a rough time and as long as its not diseased it should be just fine.
