    hello everyone
I hope to meet some really good friends, learn lots of new things about my reef tank. I have been in saltwater now for like 3 yrs. I find there is always something to learn. I do want more from my reef aquarium, i want it to be the best ever. I have moved my rocks around and corals around so much. Everyone says it stresses out corals, it does, they bounce right back. Im about to redo the whole tank. I have a 125 gal. and I still do not like the way it is fixed up. So let the design begin.

    sump for my reef

I have a sump on my 125 gal aquarium. My husband seems to think this 20gal sump is large enough. I have a skimmer it is 150gal skimmer. I think my skimmer neede to be larger and so does my sump. What size skimmer and sump should I be using for a 125gal reef?

Welcome to 3reef. Maybe post any questions you have like that in their respective topic so that someone will answer it as soon as possible. Posting here might get your question lost among the welcomes! ;) As for your sump question, I think we would probably do better giving you advise if we could see exactly what you are talking about. I would think you skimmer would be sufficient, perhaps it isn't set up correctly or functioning properly if you are having issues with it. Also, the size of your sump is kind of your call, but I'm sure someone will give you some advise after we are better educated on your situation and what kind of stock you have in your tank and sump.
