I have a love hate relationship with the gsp. I like the way they look but I just wish they didn't grow so fast.

Yeah, I see what you are saying.

How many bulbs are you running on the tank? Just trying to get a better idea of the kinds of corals that I can keep with my 8 bulb fixture on my 125g.

    Thanks.

I have an aquaticlife 6 bulb t-5 (front to back). That would make 12 bulbs in all since it is 6' long.

    Nice!

I have an AquaticLife too! ;) Would I be able to keep all of the corals you are housing in your tank? Or are there some that require a better light?

    Thank you.

There are definitely differing opinions on light requirements. The only animals in my tank that require the 6 bulbs in my opinion are the acroporas, the anemones and the clam. I think the rest can get by with less lighting and I'm sure that others on this forum would argue that they all can.

    The GSP is crazy!

I like your tank. Is that a huge amount of yellow ricordeas in the middle left?

Thanks. Yes, those are ricordias. They are more orange in person and look pink under actinics.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Pretty impressive. I of course really like the Ricordia and the mushrooms. The Prism corals looks good under that overhang.

Thanks, corailline. The prism seems to be the only thing in my tank, other than the anemones, to hold its own against the gsp. Unfortunately, where the anemones put a stop to any further growth going right, the gsp is just growing around the prism. My tank is a perfect example of why you should isolate gsp on an island of its own. :)
