    Mine is still pulling great skim.. Just have to clean the inlet on the air line once or twice a month and that's it.. Love it... Might be getting a 100g tank soon so might be getting the new larger skimmer that they just put out.. I'll kept you all posted.

    hey i just stumbled on this thread, i see now there is a 180 with the pump inside..do you think there maybe be performance issues compared to the outside pump 150 ?

    I just installed mine and its a sc-150 with the pump on the inside. It seems to be doing good after three days of running. It has alot more skim than my last skimmer but it is alot lighter in color, does anyone know why? This is the first cone skimmer i have owned. The last skimmer i had was a sea clone 100 but the skim was dark green vs. the light green im getting now. Do i need to do something to make it darker?
