    That's entirely possible! Mine is only running in about 5" of water (the water line JUST over the outlet of the blue tube. Maybe I need to raise the water level to get rid of the gurggling sound?

    The optimal is at least 8", and I think up to 10"

    I"ve now got mine at 9.25"

    My pump quits making noise when I put my finger over the venturi intake tube. Otherwise it makes an awful rattling sound. Is anyone else experiencing this?
