Here is what my skimmer is producing. It is frothy but not of dark color. Should I be adjusting the air/water intake?

302? What did they do, re-name it?

Does it have the Atman 2500?, etc.

Looks just like mine I got less than a year ago.

So my one bad thing to say about the skimmer is that the legs that hold the base on are not glued on very well.

I was trying to turn mine in the sump to get it to face hte other direction and one of the legs snapped off!

Luckily I was able to just superglue it back on but it should be glued on better!

Yeah the first day I got myn i dropped the collection cup lid and broke off the circle that attaches to it. I used some silicone from my baffles and it worked fine.

Still can't seem to get my skimmer dialed in yet. It's been about 4 weeks now and can't get dark skim. It's in 8", have the turn dial mod on the air intake (from Maxijet1200) and a little above #3 (3-1/8)setting?

I'm new to this site and I have a few questions. I've done quite a bit of browsing. I have a 40B and planning on doing a 20L refugium. I've been trying to find an inexpensive, quality protein skimmer and this seems to be the first one I've stumbled upon. My question is, do I go with the 65 or the 150? I want to have as much room as possible for my refugium so I'm leaning towards the 65. My question is, do you think I'll regret not going with 150 considering my total DT and Sump total will be ~60 gallons? Also I like this skimmer because I'd like my baffles in the refugium to be around 9" and it seems that is just about the preferred height for this skimmer. Thank you!

If it was my set up I would do the 65, and make as much room for the refugium as I could. I have my 150 in 8" and now starting to get some good foam. I have read setting the skimmer anywhere from 8-10".

Thank you. I'm leaning towards the 65. And as of right now, my baffles in my refugium are designed to be around 8.5 inches.

Here is my re-vamped sump I just built out of a 29G My Baffles are pretty tall utilizing as much water volume with power failure room. If I was going to build another sump, I would have made the return section last, instead of the middle.

Nice, nice DIY light hanger, I'm such a DIY kind of guy; did you see all my DIY stuff in my short DT vid in my sig?

Anyways, where's the chaeto in that puppy?
