Can i get a little help on setting mine up. I can't seem to get the flow correct. What is the water level supposed to be for this? I either get too much flow and water out the top or a mass of bubbles coming out the bottom. the instructions are about useless. Thanks.

Its because you are being to inpatient. Set it about an inch below the base of your collection cup and wait 24-48 hours if there's no skimmate set a bit higher and repeat hope this helps.

Hi, I have mine in 9" of water from the very bottom of the skimmer. It is set on a little over 2 Mine foamed over at first too. Better to set it low and adjust slow. Im just repeating advice I recieved here before. Nice skimmer!

Make sure nothing is plugging the air intake. Have you tried taking it apart and looking at it? Was it packed in styrofoam? I know someone that bought a skimmer and plugged it in and would dothe same thing. Ended up havering a small piece of styrofoam packed in the top of the air intake. I know what are the odds but hey lol.

I'll check. I have had several other skimmers so know my way around a bit. the instructions to assemble are 4 pics and that's about it. anyone familiar with these, there is a constant stream of bubbles coming out the bottom of the blue tube. no amount of adjustment will stop it completely and if i turn the blue tube down, water actually pours out of the top of the skimmer.

I was havig issues with my swc160. And I took it apart and ran a pipe cleaner through the air Venturi and got some nasty gunk out that was partially plugging it.

Is it working any better for you?
I have bubbles coming from the bottom of the blue tube as well, I just figured it was normal and they are mostly removed by the 3 baffles in place before the return section. It took about a week before It would stay consistent and produce skimmate.
