Scammed by Ebay Seller Portnew?

Purchased a 150w metal halide reflector for $35 on 3/2. I had to email the seller to ask when it would be shipped. They replied on 3/8 that it was shipping that day. It's now 3/18 and his advise to me "contact him at the end of the week if the package is not there". Item lists that it's shipping from the USA, am I being impatient or is this unreasonable?

Since it has been over two weeks, you can file claim with ebay. Ask the seller how it was shipped and ask for tracking number.

 

Its only been 10 days since he "shipped" it. It could just have gotten lost in the mail.

 

I have had packages from Vancouver, CA in 3 days and a package from japan in a week. Both standard shipping. I believe he may be trying to lead you on long enough to not be able to file a claim. File a claim w/ ebay and paypal. When it arrives you can always cancel the claim.

 

Just read this guys reviews and you would have seen that their have been many more instances just like this. IMO I would not have purchased anything from this seller based on these reviews.

 

Claims with ebay are useless, put a claim in with Paypal, providing you paid with them that is.

 

Paid him less than 5 minutes after auction close.

Scares me that they have a warehouse in Hong Kong. Makes me wonder if it didn't ship from there. Item description says it ships from the USA. Also note that it doesn't include a tracking number.

 

I'd give him til saturday for package to show. email if nothing ishows up. then monday file a complaint. and make sure you let them know your intent. FYI: probly is getting shiped from japan,etc..

So mad at myself for purchasing this. Time to start hunting around for another pendant.
