So ever since I added my baby kole tang on Sunday, my clowns seem to be scared silly of him lol. Will they get better in time? He doesn't even swim very close to them but they area all the way at the top of the water trying to swim away whenever he comes to their side. I don't have an anemone yet and I hope to get one soon, I am looking for a bubble tip of some sorts ATM. Will the clowns feel safer with an anemone around?

I think clowns will be happier with something to host them, but I've never seen a clown afraid of anything. Mine bite my hand when I put it in the tank.

They will get better with time. They probably will be happier with something to host them.

thanks for the replies. I was surprised that they were scared as well. maybe it's because of the size of the tang compared to them. They seemed fine when I added the anthias. I will definitely be looking for an anemone soon.
