Scarlet Shrimp HELP!

Got a scarlet shrimp yesterday from the lfs. Never had good luck with any shrimp . before i got one tested for copper. No copper or cuperic in the water. had him in the tank for 24 hours . found him up side down. but flipped him up and i can see that his mouth is still moving/ insides are moving around ... whats the deal-e-o?

 

how long did you acclimate him? drip or did you just float the bag?

 

about an hour = 30 mins float then every 10 mins after i would add a 1/2 cup of water the the bag. seemed to be doing great up until this afternoon

 

Are you running a grounding probe? What is your SG? Nitrate level?

 

grounding probe?? lol , sg, 1.024 , nitrates around 20

 

ground probes take out any electrical crap out of your water. Something You need to purchace. Nothing worse theen seeing any living thing getting shocked.
