Lost power due to snow and have been running on a generator for the past couple days. So far no losses but I had the other ballast on my TEK fixture burn out Just hours before the power went out. I wish I would have not bought this piece of crap. It will be fixed under warranty but this will be the second ballast being replaced. After I get it fixed any one want to buy it. LOL At least the generator I bought will run my entire tank, the fridge, and 3 heaters. OK I'm done venting.

Everywhere around my city go snow. Memphis, you guys in Georgia, etc. But no, not Chatt town. :p Oh well, at least we don't have to worry about power outages. Still, we never get snow. It's nice to see it every now and then.

Good luck with the power issue! Um, how are you on the computer? When you're power has been out for a few days? Laptop?

your avatar.. is that a male or female leopard wrasse? What type of leopard wrasse? Also where does that originate from..

I saw some peacock, and black spotted leopard wrasse but I like the colors in your avatar.

That bites Scenario. What... I live like 1 1/2-2 hours south of you and we got about 13 flakes. Seriously, when it got to the Jefferson County, GA line it fizzled out. Man...I wanted to see some snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad your power is back on though! Everything ok? Other than the lights........Have you called the co where you bought them from and tried to get something other than TEK?

I would say we had about 6 inches. Next time you take the snow. I don't want it. I think I am just going to get some other kind of lights and use the TEK as a back up fixture if it doesn't tear up while not in use. LOL

cuttingras, you and I can split the snow next time. I'm surrounded by mountains, but I'm in the valley between them. So we never get snow. One of my friends had snow on her car Sunday morning up on the mountain, but that's it. Just the cold metal of a car.
