I think I am going to stack it and use some epoxy to hold it together.

I wouldn't worry about that coralife dual analog timer.
I have it, and haven't had a single problem with it for almost one year.
Maybe it just hasn't been long enough to start acting up. Keep it dry, and don't break off the little tabs. Everything looks like a clean well planned setup so far. You have room under there for a Ca reactor too?

I am looking into a cal reactor and coil denitrator to put under here as well. Maybe my timer will last.

I would look into installing some kind of ball valve for the lower nozzles. What happens if theres too much flow coming up? How are you going to control it? As for the Coralife timer, Maybe calling it a p.o.s. was a little hasty, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from using them. They didnt do so hot with MH's.

You dont "need" pvc, I just like to work with it, its alot more stable and reduces any noises that may occur. Luna

Thanks Luna and Mission for the advise and post. I will look into getting the lock line valve as that would be easier to go that route now. Do any of you recommend a black paint that I can use that is safe to paint the white PVC inside the tank.

I would just let the tank color up the pvc.... If you look at linda's, hers is coloring up pretty quick.

OK got another new toy. Can I calibrate this with RO/DI water. The instructions say use distilled?
