Have you thought about maybe just selling off some fish, and going with a real light bioload to cut down on maintenance? IDK, just thinking. My tank is SO low care level. All I have to do is top it off and feed it (have never done a water change on it). My 40 was 10X the work. I know where you're coming from though, I am a 60+ hour a week guy too.

 

Thats what I was about to suggest. Sell the "hard-to-keep" or "high-maint." corals and just stay with the hardiest ones. Fish are easy to keep, just feed and c' ya. I really hope that you can figure this out, this would be a damn shame.

I may think about doing just that but I am still leaning towards getting rid of her because it might be able to be low maintenance but I would't have time to enjoy it you know and it makes me sick and this is something I should be able to enjoy.

 

Scenario - do you know anyone in Athens GA or close to Athens GA who might be prepared to do some tank sitting / regular maintenance?

Its all good. I will start over when I can get more time on my hands to enjoy it. Now the tedious task of parting this thing out. Thanks guys and gals for all your help.

 

Just an update. I am keeping it guys. Got the itch again and I am going to find the time for it.
