I need to start an auto top off to keep my salinity levels more even. I have a RO/DI unit but no way to plumb it into my tanks. I think this means I need a resevoir? I do not have a controller.

What do I need and what unit should i be looking at?

I hear JBJ ATO is good, it has a controller and water level sensers.

Yes you need something to hold the RO/DI water like a 5gal bucket or something. Check out this place auto top-off components if you dont mind a little DIY

I've got the JBJ and am very happy with it. You can build your own, but you won't save much money and a DIY setup won't give you the fail-safes that a production unit will. An ATO can be a dangerous thing and can kill a tank without fail-safes.

U use a 2 float ato from autotopoff.com it was around $60 shipped. I use a rio600 pump and a old salt bucket with a hole cut in the lid for the cord and hose
