I've taken lots of classes on this and am really fascinated by this topic actually, sorry its not for you. However if you need to pro points to discuss the other side in your paper look at the book animals and psychedelics. Its a great read and would help your paper.

the way I look at it is that you kind of have to get over it and just deal with it and do it. This week alone I've had three exams and I already know of two 10 page minimum papers I have at the end of the semester, as well as various case studies on cities (im a Political Science major). Every person with any diploma, degree, or certificate took classes that werent interesting, but you have to remember the + of getting the degree. It's worth it in the long haul.

Atleast in college you will have the option to drop the classes you dont like, but just remember dropping with WP/WF and hours attempted.

Use a lot of references, less writing for you. By quoting a couple paragraphs that should help with the two pages you still have left to write.

A simple point, counterpoint, point should get you through the next two pages.

Make a point. Support your point through references. Assume a counterpoint. For example, "Some people may say that hallucinogenic drugs do not have long term effects on the mind." Then go into detail about the counter argument of why people may say drugs do not create mental disorders. After that, make your point again that they do create mental disorders because of (input reference here).

You don't have to believe what you are writing. You just have to support an opinion. A good way of doing that is to negate an opposite opinion with factual information (references).

That is what I am saying, if they are taken in excess.

haha. What you do, is your business. Don't mind me. :) I don't even really agree that drugs should be illegal, but I am just trying to get this paper done. ugh. :(

Procractination is one of my best(or worst) qualities. It just depends on how you look at it. haha

I try to use many references when I write, not just to take up space with block quotes(lol), but so I know what I am talking about and it doesn't look like I am pulling stuff out of my butt. :p

Thank you. The idea of a counterpoint is a good one. :) I hadn't even thought of this.

Now, I'll grab a snack, and write two more pages for my paper. If I can get this done tonight, all I have to worry about is the powerpoint presentation, which will be notes from my paper. :) I will take the strong points from it and talk about them in class.

I'll say that the reality is that it's more likely to exacerbate existing problems or flaws in someone than actually change someone, and that the shift they may cause is definitely reversible, and leave it at that.

Just make it something cheesy that rhymes. Draw a picture in pencil and follow the lines with words. Teachers love that idea. lol.

I'm not sure if he would let me do that. But I have to finish my paper this weekend anyway...maybe next time. ;)

This is my ending statements..the last 2 paragraphs, before my conclusion.

Some scientific research has been done on the study of hallucinogens and how they effect the human mind, but not enough information has yet been obtained from them, to moderate or predict all occurrences of what may happen. Below, are the thoughts of Harvard Medical School students, John H. Halpern and Harrison G. Pope Jr. about their study of 20 separate cases(within 1995-2001) done by The American Psychiatric Association(APA).

Most studies provide too little information to judge how many cases could meet
[Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders] DSM-IV
    criteria
[by APA] for HPPD; and consequently, information about risk factors for
HPPD, possible etiologic mechanisms, and potential treatment modalities must be
interpreted with great caution. At present, HPPD appears to be a genuine, but
uncommon disorder, sometimes persisting for months or years after
hallucinogen use and causing substantial morbidity.
