    Why not set it up at school to begin with and do a video journal of the progression.
    Talk to the science lab teacher about it, I know my local reef club actually donates tanks and equipment to the science labs in several of the local high schools here and the students spend the year taking care of them, with a local student reefer overseeing things in the background of course :jester:

    minimum size piece of a coral that can sucessfully be fragged from a larger one.

    Results for science fairs usually have to be measurable results, not just
    Visual, so you would have to have a way to physically measure differences in corals which might be difficult to measure in that amount of time.....maybe.

    If you had a few small tanks you could test macro algae and which absorbs something like phosphates the most efficiently... Just a thought. But measurable params. Are good.
