I love my new buddies and was so proud of them until my 12 yr old son said it reminded him of the bass we caught at the lake !!

OK....their mouths are a bit big !::) How could he insult them. My 15yr old daughter named them spaz and tard !

I have one of those fish. He likes to tunnel under rocks and hide most of the time, then comes out to dart around, eat, and then watches from his cave again. Strange but cool fish. Not too colorful, but pretty in it's own way!

I love mine. They aren't afraid of anything. They will slink in a hole when lights go out but hang out all day together (that may make the difference) . I can turn the pumps off and back on again when feeding and all the other fish dart to bottom except them. They cruise around out in the open since the day I got them. They are always cruising and rubbing against each other. I wondered if it was a male and female. I've had them about two weeks. The supplier had them 3 weeks in his tanks. They love strong current.
