I was at my LFS this weekend and saw their scoly's in bad shape - power outage affected their tanks... one scoly was in good shape and one was completely gone... i did see a green one that was in the middle... I ended up get it close to free to take home and give it a shot to try and get it healthy again. Here is a pic:

Any suggestions, diagnosis for scoly experts? I have another scoly (war paint) that is doing great! For reference, here is my war paint scoly I bought healthy and is doing well...

    My parameters are:
    - 77.8 deg when measured
    - 8.2 pH
    - 8.0 KH
    - 480 Ca
    - 1250 Mg
    - 1.025 SG
    - 0 N02, NO3, PO4... phosphate measure near zero... doing a sensitive test expose very low but just installed a phosban reactor.

I dose, SeaChem Fusion 1 and Fusion 2, SeaChem Strontium, B-Ionic Magnesium, and Lugol's solution...

Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I think you are doing pretty much all that can be done. Try feeding it directly would be my only suggestion.

I am debating on the feeding... would you do small mix of cyclopeeze to start or go with mysis shrimp? Would the size be stressful for it?

Size of food really shouldn't matter. If it's willing to accept, I say the meatier the better.

I think you're probably fighting an uphill battle here. At best, it will be a slow recovery.

Cyclopeeze would be to small for a scolymia I would do mysis or even krill. Everything you are doing seems right on the only thing I would add is to make sure no sand is getting on them as they are real sensitive to that.

How can you tell if it is an s.vitiensis or an s.australis? I am sure the war paint is s.australis but not sure of the new one. Anyone have any ideas?
