    For those of you who have had scolys for over a year, how have yours changed in color? My red one developed green and blue stripes. My war paint style just got even more diverse colors all around and added some more green also...

    I'm just curious how/why they change colors. What determines that?

    I didn't think that scolys were as dependant upon zoox in their tissue. I thought most lps produced their own color.
    I read an article in coral mag once talking about how certain lps change colors under different light slowly, but then rapidly revert to original color in only a few days when the preferred spectrum is present.

    I have had mine for 6 months now and have seen significantly more distinct orange coloration that was very washed out when I got it.

    The orange in it was barely visible when I purchased it, looked like a green blob like the guy from Ghostbusters.

    Nice! and btw, LONGEST COMMUTE EVER! Is that a stock tank frag system? Also what are those two chalice frags?
