As some of you know, I have been diligently trying to find a good used chiller for my 150. I almost settled several times, but I am glad I waited. I really wanted a 1/3 hp but thought it would be way out of my budget. Then I found an Old man listed his JBJ 1/3 chiller for 500.00 (This retails for about 950.00) It was only 3 months old. He started a saltwater and the Diatom bloom totally turned him off so he sold everything-I negotiated the chiller for 400.00----Sweeeeeet!!! Such a relief now I dont have to worry about heat this summer. Also can upgrade to Halides!!! Does it ever end????-Thanks to everyone that was trying to help me find a chiller!!

Wierd isnt it??? I would have a real hard time spending the money on other things. But when it comes to this, it's like you loose all your senses and just hand it over!!! Then once your in for a few grand, you have to protect it or keep adding no matter what the cost. Wow I am in the wrong business!!!!!

Congrats on the chiller. You may as well quit counting your debt or you wont make it in this hobby. LOL. All this cash and I could of restored my cars, but the wife is easy to get money from when it comes to tanks.

I suppose the rule of having patience doesnt necessarily apply only to whats in your display, huh? Good find!
