Monday nights I play in the C-level league at the local ice rink, and I scored my best goal of the season so far. It was pretty sweet if I do say so myself.

I won a defensive zone face-off and pushed the puck between the opposing centers legs. I recovered the puck split the D and tore off on a one on none. I deked to the right then pulled it back to the left and caught the goalie slightly out of position. Wrister, top shelf, over the blocker, to tie the game.

I am quite happy with it. Way better than my slop goal last week.

    Hell yeah!

How far out of the crease was the tender? Aggressive or not? That's an accomplishment that is usually pulled off in the offensive zone! Where you home and have your stick down last? Sorry, the puckhead is coming out of me :D :D

Wrist shot (using just the flick of the wrist as opposed to the well-known slap shot) over the blocker pad (the hand that isn't the glove) of the goalie's shoulder. I don't know if it was short side or long though

Not aggressive at all he was just about on the crease. We were home. It happened to be a good line up for me as well. It was late in the third and they had most of their older players on the ice. I already have some of the fast legs and being 22 I am not as prone to getting tired out as the 40+ guys they had on their D.
