Scored a great goal tonight. (another hockey thread haha)

Alright now I am going to show why I play in the C league. Whats short side or long side mean?

I (a left hand shot) was coming down the left side of the ice and put it on the left side of the goalie (his right).

Congrats on the goal. It's always a good thing to have the tender backed up in his doorway. Good job getting past the vets. Most of the vets know a thing or two to tie you up and keep a good appearance to the zebras.

 

Short side = the side where the goalie is closest to the post.
