    I wouldn't mind moving to Canada myself if it weren't so stickin' cold! I don't mind the cold for 2 hours monday night, but otherwise I am happy right here in sunny central florida. I heard welders (my trade) are making a killing in Alberta too.

    only place that really doesnt get cold in winter is vancouver. just have to put up with the rain. id rather have snow. lol. alberta + oil = need for welders. but damn cold where they are. lol

    LOL, I live for the cold! I can handle humidity heat from the tropics and dry cold. I can't handle dry heat. I've just always loved my visits to Canada because of the appreciation for nature and the non-assuming attitude. The country reminds me of my small town I grew and live up in. Naturally and culturally rich.

    lol, two opposites. waterloo is part of kitchener-waterloo , or KW. the land of research in motion. thats where balsillie wanted to take the yotes. alot of germans and amish down there. but they ddo have an excellent oktoberfest. burp. lol

    Definitely two opposites, that's why it's a real hard decision for us. My gal and me are connected to RIM in a few ways, but then again we're coastal dwellers. It all comes down to where's the best opportunity.

    definitely wish you the best of luck in whatever decision you make. could go right in the middle. saskatchewan has been the boom province lately. go farm wheat. lol.

    newfs are great people. unfortunately, they are our version of the polish jokes. e.g how do you get a newf out of the tree? wave to him. you could get your screech degree there , which after that , you have to kiss the flounder. :). al lthe seafood you could eat. but then comes winter. lol
