stepho, awesome goal tonight , congrats. be more awesome if next game you got someone to video it , to share with all of us. and you can edit all your good stuff. remember , keep the elbows high and stick on the ice.

I'll try to get the next game on video. I think you guys are going to be less impressed when you see how bad some of the people in the league are. haha

I'm just stoked to see FL have a hockey foundation being set up down there. It took a long time for NorCal to get one going, but it's a beautiful thing. We've got a lot of rinks here now.

 

I'm pretty bummed that my area doesn't have a hockey league UT Knoxville has a team, but I hated that campus so I didn't go there. I probably wouldn't have made the team any time soon anyways.

Maybe that's what I should do for a career. Open up an arena full of ice rinks here in Chattanooga. We sure could use one. Have some rinks for hockey, some for ice skating, maybe throw in some speed skating or something. Or figure skating. Yeah that'd be one cool arena.

That would be a sweet facility. I really like the separate rinks for hockey and figure skating part. There is a guy that practices figure skating right before adult hockey and he digs holes all the way down to the paint, its ridiculous.

We have a great foundation being built up now. Just in central florida there is 4-5 rinks with pretty good youth programs developing. We had a really great Canadian hockey coach at my local rink that was developing our boys for a while and IMO cranked out several great young hockey players. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them has a pro contract within the next five years.
