so far i have been able to put some crabs and a blue tuxedo urchin in there with him....

I put some gold fish in but that was just for my own ammusement!!!
    it was over fast tho...

he is so very aggrresive....he hits the glass all day when i come in to my office!!!

but i was thinking of doing all kinds of triggers in a 240-300

    any suggestions??

No problem dude....it has been a touchy subject lately. Lionfish will finish off whatever they can. They have big mouths and they use them. It is my hope to get a smaller lionfish in the future for a FOWLR. Smaller because anything else I want to put in there will have to be bigger. And meaner. Great fish though. You might just have yourself a species tank there!!!!;D

Scorpionfish isn't a fish that I'd call "aggressive". Even with a voracious appetite and venomous spines. It needs to be kept with fish as big or, bigger. If it can fit in their mouth they will try. Your crabs are probably doomed. Also, refrain from feeding your scorpion goldfish and/or freshwater vittles. They lack nutrients that are essential to a healthy fish. Ween it off live and onto prepared.

well scorpion fish is not by any means a "lionfish"!!!!!
allthough they may be related im not sure,
it looks like a big bass shaped rock with clams for fins when and if it swimms the back of its fins look like monarch butterfly wings!!!

i only fed it the gold fish for sport!!!!!LOL
my friend left them in my truck for two days i found them alive in the bagg
soooooo....ya it was fun for about two minutes

he is on iqf silver sides i feed him with an acrylic stick...LOL
i dont get near him...to be honest im terrified of him...

The button on the top right takes the picture. Press it. LOL. I am surprised at how many people cant use a camera. Cool fish, my wife wanted one. I tell her she can when she cares for the tanks.

well reefer bob you hurt my feelings:cry:...LOL j\k ..i can use a camera! just not hers, its got a button to hold while you press the snap button it has aquarium settings!!!!! i have to manually turn off flash and the red
shot aimer or it gets glare i have to set the shutter speed...this and that my wife is into photography and art and this camera is serious,,,just ask my pocket book!!!
i could probably do it but im a lazy lazy guy...

imo this fish needs a 39-55 gallon tank even at full size.....it rarely moves its an ambush predator!!!! i think im naming it rambo!!
but you need a 120 or some serrious waste management system...
    it truelly ruins water quality!!!

I want to put it with bigg triggers in a 240 plus fowlr tank and a big puffer or two
