Interesting thread... I'm in line for one of the future 300g builds. Currently researching and planning.
Thanks for sharing each step. Looking forward to more :)

Just did a water test. everything is good. salinity is a little low but it will work. Started ghost feeding today.

Not happy with the Apex right now but after e-mails back and forth with Neptune. After they got to see my configuration and see everything that I have. They are going to call me tomorrow and work to get it fixed. I thought that the apex could support 240 modules. Mine for some reason is limiting to 29. That leaves off 3 modules that I need and does not let me expand. Or I have 4 modules that do not work.

I also got the wrong cables for the apex to control the lights. so I going to have to re-order that.

I also ordered 1" check valves and got 1 1/2" check valves. So had to re order I ordered 3/4" and 1/2" so I should be able to use one set of them I would think.

Looking great to date, very nice job! Looking forward to your updates and learning the processes involved, although I doubt I'd be looking at a 300G tank just yet (in my dreams!).

such a cool tank. You have some beautiful pieces of live rock. I like how they are interspersed.

Ye ye ye give it a decade (unless you can afford large coral colonies) and those rocks will be crackin with branches of green, blue and red. A staghorn is must for your system i feel
