I have a Blue head Fairy Wrasse which is similar. They both have a good personality and beauty to spare. Keep just one in your tank and offer plenty of hiding places. They will grow to about 5 inches as they are one of the bigger of the Fairy Wrasses and will do best in a tank of 50 gallons or larger. With your 100gallon tank it will make a wonderful addition to your reef tank!

I've had them before but none were my own personal fish. I was actually going to order a couple but decided against it. I went with clown fairy wrasses instead.

If you're going to get one, try and get an Australian one. I believe you'll also need females for it to keep it's bright colors. The problem with fairy wrasses is jumping. Big issue. Sometimes even for no apparent reason they'll jump.

Might want to look into carpenters fairy wrasses. They're small, fairly cheap so it's easy to get a nice harem. Pretty fish too.

Just be careful Michael, because some of them do well in a reef tank as a juvenile, but become terrors ans they reach maturity.
