    Stock carbon/filter floss Power Filter
    10.5 Lbs LR
    7 Lbs Carrib Sea Sand

    Equipment:
    Hydor 50W Heater
    Hydor Koralia Nano 425 GPH

    Lighting: 2x BoostLED's PAR30 Reef Lamps W/ Clamps 3 RB 1 NW 1 CW 60* optics

    Looking good! Nasty looking hitchhiker. Looked kinda like a parasitic amphipod.

    Why does your lighting look yellow in the first couple pics and then blue in the rest? it looks good :)

    I bet it's the difference in the stock hood T8 lighting and the led. You can see the two side by side in the picture with 2 tanks.

    haha actually I recently upgraded to par30 reef lamps from boostLED so the yellow lighting pics are from my old stock incandescent hood. thanks for viewing!

    Looks very nice.

    That "nasty little creature" looks a lot like a cirolanid, a parasitic type of isopod. Cirolanids are very hard to remove from a tank once they start to reproduce, good thing you got it out.
