    Here is to hoping that the next time you find yourself at a beach-side resort that some version of the 'Scubster' - a 14-foot pedal-powered submarine - is available for rent. The Scubster was designed by Stephane Rousson and his French team for the 2011 International Submarine Race. Although it is a 'wet' submarine and has only dived to six meters in tests so far, Team 3reef would certainly give it a go if given a chance. Just let us know.

    That's cool, but what's the purpose is it to have a sub, that you still need to where scuba gear?

    I would think it would open up the possibility of traveling a little faster with mechanical assistance - besides - its one more thing to bling out - I can see some 22's on that mother and a big pair of fuzzy dice in the cockpit!!!

    It has to be the toy factor because as a diver I would hate the encumbrance of that thing, if its a speed issue they have the Underwater scooter thats hand held and can be rented for $25.00/day
