sea cucumbers any good?

are there any types of cucumbers that wont wipe out a tank if they die or get stressed ?? if there is any chance that this might happen im staying clear but if there is a specific type that wont do this i think they could be a good asset on the sand clean up

 

as far as ive researched

anything with bulk on it when it dies can wipe out the tank
even smaller critters can damage yer tank when they die

i dont think yer gonna find a cucumber that wont wipe out yer tank when it dies

 

Once again, the dying and killing all is blown so far out of the water. If your keeping corals and the such, keeping a cuke is nothing. Unless you have like 3 ppm amm, it wont die. Heck, cukes help keep ammonia from ever forming

 

Cukes don't wipe out tanks when they die. If they feel threatened they expel their intestines to wart off attackers and that is what everyone blows out of proportion. If you have a peaceful tank and no invert eating fish then you will be just fine. Just some read repeaters have blown them way out of the water. I have a Tiger Tail Cuke and love what he does for the tank. Been thinking about getting another one because he stays at one end of the tank all the time.
