    I've not used it. Yesterday I did try to look up the ingredients but the TLF website doesn't say anything. I can't help if I don't have personal experience and they don't say what's in it.

    Pretty much this, but my general opinion is that I wouldn't try it because I don't like dosing stuff I can't test for.
    There is such a huge variety of organisms that require various "trace elements" and various amounts of these elements. I don't see how one formulation could accomplish dosing all of these various things in the appropriate quantities for every individual tank.

    They say on their webpage that they are aware of certain elements building up in other formulas "to toxic levels" but then they provide a blanket solution like this that does a similar thing without saying what it's made of. I don't see how they can guarantee that their product will not build up any of the elements in it to high levels, maybe not toxic levels, not everything is toxic at high levels. But it still seems weird to me to ackowledge an issue and then sell a product that seems to do something similar.

    Doesn't make sense to me so I wouldn't trust it, I would need more information before trying it, personally. JMO

    Yes guys, I understand, however here is an excerpt from Instant Ocean Salt;
    Instant Ocean sea salt contains every necessary major, minor, and trace element and has no nitrates and no phosphates. Instant ocean 150gal sea salt box of 3-50gal bags 42lb a nitrate-free and phosphate-free synthetic sea salt. it insures that even the most delicate marine fish, invertebrates and plants will thrive. it is now improved for even faster dissolving.

    Now we all use salt mixes and have no idea what trace elements are in them or how much and no one tests for them. I trust the product as it is coming from Julian Sprung, a respected man in his field. I will see in a month and let everyone know my assessment of the product.
