I am having problems with GHA in my 24 gallon tank + 7 gal sump. I got a sea hare to eat the algae, but I am worried about how it will do with the corals. There is GHA growing on the frag plugs that I am using for propagation and in between some of the zoa polyps, and I am worried that the sea hare will accidentally hurt the corals or damage them.

Any advice on GHA or the sea hare would be appreciated... because I am just pulling it out from between the polyps with tweezers right now.

It shouldn't mess with corals. When I worked at the LFS, we kept our loaner (yes he was a loaner) in a frag tank with high end sps.

Ok thanks. I just really want it to eat the algae that is growing in and around my colonies. We have GHA everywhere, by the time he gets done with the tank there is plenty for him to eat in the sump and I just keep switching him out. If I do run out of algae for it to eat, i read that parboiled lettuce was a good food for him. Any thoughts on that?
