Updated pics for proof ? Good Luck.. I hope they thrive like you say.. and as long as your Fuge is set up and ready incase something starts going wrong, I dont see the harm.

well... yeah. That is the point. If I can not get a square block in a round hole and then tell my buddy about it... he will fail too... ad infinitum

My buddy will have to try a different thing to have any hope of success.

You are doing the same thing as a lot of folks on here have done in the past and failed (like mentioned more than once, has nothing to do with what people have read, but actual hands on experience (though I am sure alot of the responders are just regurgitating what they read without experience)). If you do it the same way, you will fail too (statistically).

The only thing I think you have going for you (that makes it not the exact same thing) is that you watched these horses for a few weeks in a reef environment and confirmed they were eating, etc.

I do think you should look at feeding more often to increase your chances since you are already walking a tight rope... I would not try to tempt fate on two things at once... but that is up to you.

So maybe they will be OK... maybe. I think it is clear you have already committed to this experiment and I do not see any value in continued new posts telling you to give them back... nor do I see any value in you continuing to argue with these posts...

I again recommend you just ignore them... you are not going to convince anyone otherwise until (if) you have pics up of these horses still thriving in a few months from now...

you are going to have to let your pics and time speak for themselves... you words are not going to convince anyone that has already tried this...

The horses are already in his tank so if you have a negative opinion, then keep it to yourself because its not going to make him remove the ponys, constructive comments only.

Some people must fail to learn....its called the hard way. But there is always a chance of succeeding.

This is his thread and he is going to keep us posted on the seahorses. Stop being rude and let this man raise these damn things.

Good Luck to you brown trout and keep us posted. and yes we need pics, as many as possible!

This statement is out of context with the posting on this thread.
IMO this thread is saying that if you fail at something and tell your buddy, and hundreds of others also tell that person of their failures, but only a few report being successful, then the buddy will most likely, but not impossibly, have a poor chance success.

K+. There's no point at putting this man down. He knows that what he is doing is against common belief and he has taken that into consideration and is capable of making his own decisions. May we learn from his experience and others who try different things.

    How are the pony's?
