O.k. gang, anyone ever use the product Sea-Lab No. 28? I am trying it primarily to raise the Calcium or at least help to maintain the Calcium where I want it. I have a good amount of Halimeda and since I also am trying my hand at LPS (I recently added 2) it seems the calc has gone from a steady 400-420 ppm to 360-380 ppm. Anyway, I bought some of the No. 28 and want input from those who have used it. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I use Kent Marine; Tech*CB as my supplimentation.

I have used that product and would recommend it to just about anybody who keeps a few stony corals. If, however, you have an sps/lps dominated tank, you will need far more than the blocks to keep your calcium levels up.

Put it in a low flow area in the sump.. The lower the flow the better.. I use them and have a mixed reef of both SPS and LPS. If you put it in a high flow it will disolve much faster then accurate. In low flow i usually replace after 5 days to a week of it being disolved. My calcium is always in the 400's sometimes goes a bit high though up to 500+ thats why i wait a few days before adding another one. If you put it in a high flow tho it will mess some things up bad.
