Sea Lettuce turning brown!!

    I have about a half a pound of sea lettuce in my fuge, and most of it is turning brown and mushy...I have 2 jbj macro lights on it on a reverse cycle...is it not getting enough nutrients?...and should I try to remove the mushy brown sea lettuce....I had some in there before and it was fine..it never really grew, it just got eaten up in time...but this new batch seems that its mostly dying...any help would be great...
