What type of sea squirt is this? Any special arrangement (food, light, tank mate) I need to be aware of? It has been closed since a few hours ago, I am not sure if it's normal. It was open when I first put it in the tank.

Looks more like a sea apple than a sea squirt.

Sea squirts are more of a tunicate or sponge.

Sea apples are more of an animal and a filter feeder. If it is an apple, watch it because when many kinds die or are disturbed they can release a toxin that will kill everything in your tank.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It is a Tunicate aka Sea Squirt.

Hard to keep long term in small tanks, filter feeder that appreciates a continuous supply of fine particulate matter. You can feed them but you compromise your water quality in small tanks not designed to keep non-photosynthetic creatures.
