Sea Star - Star Fish it doesnt matter - its dead

I agree, you'll find numerous "my crab killed ____" on the net but the crab is just doing what it naturally does, scavenging and taking advantage of an easy meal when it sees distress or weakness, if that was the case. Crabs always seem to be the last one holding the meal though.

It's like Billy loves cookies but the cookies are too high up for Billy to reach them in the cupboard. One day an earthquake knocks the cookies out of the cupboard and Billy starts to eat them. Billy's mom walks in and says "Billy you are such a bad boy for eating the cookies" & the earthquake gets away scott free. That pretty much explains crabs' bad rep & is a testament to all parents to safely hide cookies in case of earthquakes!
