sea star?

hello out there, i have what looks like baby brittle stars. but they have 6 legs. the legs look like bristle worms but attached to a body. any ideas. ill try to get pics. tia.

 

Sounds like a micro brittle star, tiny little guys that are harmless hitch-hikers and very common. Usually you can only see their legs hanging out of the LR.

 

The most common little hitchhiker brittles with six legs are probably Ophiactis savignyi and Ophiocomella sexradia, so maybe it's one of those species? Here's a thread on another forum that refers to the two species, with pics:
