    I am looking at making some changes to my tank and wondering if anyone has used sea swirls on their tank (or currently use), and what their opinions are positive and negative.

    I have a pair of them and they are great. completely silent, always working and they do their job. I have mine on opposite ends of my 180 and when coupled with the current from my closed loop (mine are on sump return duty) they do a good job of randomizing the current. I also have a pair of Hydor flo's and they are ok. I have had mine for 6 months and the previous owner had them for considerably longer.

    what size sea swirls are you using as well as what return pump if you dont mind me asking
